Wedding Receptions at Cawthorpe Hall Cawthorpe Hall is an ideal venue for the couple looking to celebrate their wedding day in a lovely English garden. If you are thinking of an open-air reception which you can plan just the way you want without spending a fortune then Cawthorpe may be the place for you. The garden covers three acres for your guests to wander over and children to play in. There are also three more acres of fragrant roses for guests to enjoy. The hall is surrounded by open fields and is safe and secure. Cawthorpe is well situated for Stamford and Peterborough. Marquee: - There is space on the lawn for an 80’x 40’ marquee plus an attached catering tent. This is large enough to seat up to 230 guests with space for a dance floor and stage. You can tailor the size of the marquee to suit the number of your guests and if you don't have any idea about marquees, we can put you in touch with some local companies. Food: - You are entirely free to choose your caterer and menu. Drinks: - You can choose your own supplier or fetch the drinks yourself from the continent. You should discuss arrangements with your caterer who may make charges for opening your wine. Accommodation: - We can put up key people in the Hall, which has three double and one single room for B&B. Parking: - A field next to the Hall is used for parking and will be lit up after dark. Lighting: - We can illuminate parts of the garden and will discuss this with you. Cawthorpe is available for weddings most weekends May to September subject to availability.
